How many birthdays
I need to celebrate
to finally experience puberty?
I feel like I never grew up
except having growth spurts
and that time once a month
How many birthdays
I need to celebrate
to finally become a woman?
will it take ten more, twenty more
thirty more, forty more
or maybe even fifty more
only God knows how long
before I go down in history
as the world's oldest teen
