how love should be
a drop of my soul
wants the tangled dark
or the unfettered sky
it wants to soar
into the unknown
it wants to sink
into oblivion, too
why not
just not
split
apart from what drives me
then I am no one
I'm not what drives me, either
if all my aggression
lust
and tenderness
were fused into one
it would be
love
then sink me down into oblivion
and soar me off into the unknown
that's how love should be
