How Long?

How long shall I wait? How long shall I wait, For you to be mine. Ladies fall in line For just one date with me, But you’re the one I want to be My girlfriend Until the end. But you continue to push me away And at the end of the day I ask, how long? My friends say you’re wrong, They say you don’t deserve me But they can’t see That I love you. If only you loved me, too. And at the end of the day My friends all say How long will you wait? How long can I wait?

my apologies, I at first thought you were a lady..but I'm seeing you're very first poem now and I'm lost for words in expressing how sorry I am to have mistaken you for the opposite sex....forgive me please...the name is different and I believe it threw me off somewhat because of me having never run across such an unusual name..I like the name though, it's a rare one....Lawrence in Lou. Thanks again for all your comments...I love this one too.Oh yea check my race roach out..baby bug...ha!
