How I Write My Sadness

Sorrow and pain—
buried in rhyme, with heavy 
alliteration 
strutting the pages 

of a poetic mind, 
not wanting 
his unknown reader to be caught
in his shattered life. Ah, 

only the ants can hear me cry.
