How I Change the World
How I change the world
It's really very simple
I try to raise a smile
a smirk, a grin or dimple
Not just upon my face,
But those which pass on by
I greet them with a smile
and I always catch their eye
It's something that they're doing
or something that they wear
So, I make a little comment
Just to show them, someone cares
It doesn't cost a thing
But I receive so much
I suggest you try it too
and see the hearts that you can touch
Another way I change the world
And this may make you frown
I pick up trash out on the street
That others have thrown down
I do not do it with a grudge
to those who should know better
For to this Earth, for what it's worth
I also am a debtor
