How Gracious Though Art

I watched as your robe flowed past your knee
I gasped as you came closer to me

A King and Creator, who would have known
That for His creation, He would bend from His thrown

Your eyes they twinkle and shine
When you laugh it sounds like a river to me

I sit and wonder time and again
Why would a King choose to be my friend?

I may never quite know the answer I seek
But that is fine with me
As long I can watch your robe of light flow
As you bend to come and listen to me.
