How Empathetic Huh

The doctor was away so the nurse practitioner called
To see how I was doing after my stint in the hospital.
I was in big pain and cried during the entire phone call.
She said I should probably go back to the E.R.
I asked "Which E.R.?" I have been to two.
She said she did not think they could help me but maybe an E.R. could.
She ended with "Have a nice day."
HEH?

(See title if you do not know this acronym I made up to honour her).

That's exactly the way they do people now. No one actually listens to what a person's saying. Brilliantly penned.

It was so unbelievable. I could not even reply. I was so shocked.

hahaha.. it upsets me that a nurse practitioner even checks you out , I prefer the doctor.. I do hear they are well trained, but the one I have had , well , I'd rather have the doctor. My old one retired and he was the best.. hope you are well. Hugs

I am not well, but I am anxiously trying to forget how unwell I am, so I can possibly get better. Three weeks of shingles has made me into a different person, a monster of my former self. A woman I have never been before, and never ever want to be again.
