How does it feel having you always around

You promised you’d always be around even when you had to make yourself look so silly to make me smile even when I couldn’t you we’re always around even when it meant making the impossible possible even when it caused all eyes to open fingers pointing name calling finally settling down you promised to always make me laugh smile and know that you will be there right there even when you caused the stir in the first place funny right seeing through rose colored glasses remembering the vagueness of it all was there really a time where laughter was all we had I guess so cause I simply can’t help laughing even in the most trying times I find laughter peeking around the corner saying guess who I fall all over myself again craving another glass of Dom Perignon just because the bubbles tickles my nose making me laugh thinking of a calmer time a calmer place sitting across the desk watching your eyes move around the room who were we then looking into the future with a giant grin knowing the future was ours we owned it and didn’t give a dam who knew funny how life moves us lifting our dreams right off the ground soaring on a magic carpet ride over land and sea it truly is okay to laugh you know it truly is okay to dream like right now dreaming you’re here looking me square in my eyes saying what is it let me put that smile back on your face the only way I know how you know I’m always going to be around always the sun winks there it is that smile and in an instant I began laughing again see I told you I’d always be around I’m never ever leaving you no matter what you got that do you well good that’s my girl
