How do you like it?
How do you like it when it can happen to you?
A lot of times we go about our business
and think things such and such
can never happen to us
Such as losing a job, a family member
or some tragedies that can only happen
somewhere else
Not in my town
Not in my family
Are you sure about that?
Before you look on disdain at some other persons
Take a good look at yourself
Are you that fortunate?
Always free from burdens
from the travesty of life?
Be considerate will ya?
They may not be where you are at
as they may not have a choice
Things happened
- The cycles of life
- Good choices turned bad
Who knows?
They wouldn’t be where they are at
if they can help it
The looks you give today
may be what you will receive tomorrow
Give
Be kind
Lend a helping hand if you are able
Things will return tenfold to you
Sometimes don’t expect anything in return
The world is too big for you and me
And the problems are so vast
But it takes you and me and everyone
to fix it, to find solutions
It starts small and it will become big
It will not come overnight
But we will get a big chunk out of it
One thing at a time
Do what you can
Start where you are at
Change
Start with yourself
Ourselves
And go outward
That is how you change the world
Don’t talk
Just do
And see what God do
