How Do I Vote
I don’t vote Democratic
I don’t like their modern ways
They give to any down and out
And I’m the one who pays
It won’t matter if they earned it
It won’t matter what they’ve done
If they’ve been here 300 years
Or a recent border run
But I don’t vote straight Republican
I don’t like their modern ways
The cow-tow to big business
And I’m the one who pays
They listen to the lobbyist
With money they agree
They vote for their agenda
Not for little guys like me
No, I vote as an American
For anyone who fights
To help me keep what I’ve hard-earned
Including hard-earned rights
For those who love America
And want to keep it strong
For those who know in God we trust
For those, I can’t go wrong
