How Did You Know

How did you know?
Night and day I miss you too

From the day you left 
I never cease to fret

Up and down the stairs I cry
Tears and sweat of me that dry

And all alone, sitting on your chair 
Rocking my body and head in air.

As I stand, my blood begins to flow
Nerves and impulses that show

My mind that doesn't stop seeing
Your face I dream of kissing

My feet so cold outside when I walk 
Flooding the grounds with ice that talk

I see birds and bees around
Under the trees and clouds that sound

Sounding your voice I kept
My voice you forget when I slept.

The next day I walked again with tears
Walking on a track of mounds that sears

Your shoeprints you left I track
On snowflakes the day you left that whack.

One sundown, the sun thaws the icy ground
With your name written on surface I found

I turned around and closed my eyes 
Wishing you standing beside me with no lies.

I looked again on your name
My name written beside yours that blame

Blaming me for not having you on time
Shaming my pride that lingers all the time.

One day you returned to me and said "Goodbye"
"Goodbye for what and why?"

"Goodbye to the past!" you said.
Blanket embroidered with "FOREVER" you laid.

Forever we will be together again.
Your life, my life steaming, running like a train!

How did you know it's You?
The one I long for that's true.
My one and only love I knew
Everyday in my heart and soul I brew!
