How Dare I?
How dare you care what people have to think.
How dare they have the power to make your heart sink.
Who do any of you think you are?
To care enough not to go far.
Don't you see how weak you become?
All you do is run.
Claiming to have power.
When all your confidence is rotting and sour.
How dare you care about anything they have to say!
How dare they think that their words have any play.
They bounce inside your head.
Telling you to believe every word they have said.
Are you really that dumb?
To lie and say that "I'm numb".
When every time they say something useless, you die.
You don't give hope to anyone when you cry.
And you say...
"How dare you say I'm wrong".
"I'm not weak to sing my unhappy song".
"How dare you tell me that I'm weak"
"That my confidence is far from gone and bleak".
Yes, how dare I speak my mind?
How dare I refuse to stand behind?
Watching you give up and give in.
To your demons that you hold within.
Oh yes, Weak One, How dare I?
Watching you sit on your pedestal and cry.
Prove to me you deserve my respect.
Because apparently, you don't even own any introspect.
Thinking you’re so ugly.
Thinking you're so "fugly".
Just because you're not a size two.
No, it's because there's nothing but lies to you.
Yes, how dare I.
How dare I stand up and fight.
How dare I not feel sorry for you.
When all you complain about is not being a size two.
Who cares?
Intellect has nothing that compares.
Outer beauty is just a shell.
Something to has sex with, something to tell if you're not well.
I'm not perfect, no one ever will be.
And I hate you for trying to be.
