How come the age ends every story

Feel the innocence of the moment Feel the laughter You’re the one That I look after Feel the pressure Trembling In the halls Unending The morning dawning One last day A useless warning There’s no use In endless walking There’s so much hope That has been stolen How come the sage Have stopped their talking Is this a stage Some means of glory How come the age Ends every story How come the age Ends every story Feel the innocence of the moment Feel the laughter You’re the one That I look after Feel the distance Fading There’s so much heat Devastating There’s so much need In eyes of strangers Who cannot see Who’s been courageous Who cannot be In iron cages We must not fear All that awaits us How come the sage Have stopped their talking Is this a stage Some means of glory How come the age Ends every story How come the age Ends every story
