How Can I Control the Parents
I need your advice the teacher said.
How can I control the parents?
I was speechless.
My brain was out of ideas.
I had nothing.
They are seriously evil, she told me.
Can you talk to them? Can you straighten them out?
Let’s put it this way, I told her.
There are some things that are out of our control.
You must focus on their goods, and ignore their faults.
They are horrible, she persisted.
Can you call them up? Let them know what they are doing wrong?
I feel sad for her, knowing now that I am not the only person
Who receives five emails of advice a day from her.
At least this makes them a bit more tolerable.
