How can you break my heart into little pieces
slowly crushing my spirit
you understand that we are one and the same
our styles and mannerisms regarding others
yet when it comes to one another I allow you in
you only act like I'm just another one of your friends
Its hard to want to be with you when I keep getting shut out
I’m easily replaced by other girls
the pain has my stomach in knots
you injure my once capable capacity to love and become vulnerable
it seems like you don’t care at all
deep down I know you understand
but regardless of how I act, dress, look, or how much money I could ever have,
you will never care for me as I do for you.
