Housework Never Begun

There is a teensy tiny bit of hope in the recesses of my mind That this house will clean itself. That I will wake up and it will be done. The pages and piles and boxes and bags will Have miraculously disappeared overnight. There is another part of me that Simply does not care. I will tap into that part today. It is a Saturday, my day off. More snow tonight. Makes sense. We just paid to have the snow removed from the driveway.

Every Christmas, every birthday, I ask for a house elf; I am still waiting for that. Oh well, maybe next year...well penned.
