Hours To Dream
Hours To Dream
I stepped out of my bed,
With clumsy hair atop my head,
The sun rose, bright yellow and scorching red,
The birds would sing and sing and sing,
The fireball sparkled,
It illuminated my fragmented life,
The cold winter morning,
The sweet cherries on the table,
The fragrance of the bloomed roses,
The evergreen spirit of nature spoke,
“Dear ride your bike,
Or go on a hike,
Leave this stubborn life
And Admire me all you can,
You're lost but you shall be found!”
I was convinced,
I was spellbound,
I hopped on my bike,
I scheduled a hike,
All to admire the essence of life,
“But why so fast?”
I thought at last,
“The birds sing a sleepy song,
The sun, my dear night lamp,
Agreed with the flowers,
For I should now sleep for hours..”
Sorry I am mother nature,
But I have dreams to see,
Comfort to get,
And Hours to sleep before I wake,
And Hours to sleep before I wake.
