Hourglass

HOURGLASS~SAND Busted with a stain no one can remove. I can't explain, the love I feel for you. Time is passing, and you still have nothing to prove. I'm stuck flipping while the sand flows from up to down. Is it my love you disapprove? Or, is it the depth of the addiction you find so profound. I linger on the dream and the way we made it sound. Inside the hourglass under the sand, I can't breath (for you my love) 'I have drowned.' Behind this glass I'm on idle under your command. Waiting for your rescue, waiting for you to come around. The ticking of time has me memorized to the double hand. The rain is like sand, getting heavy by the pound. One day I will flip and break this hourglass sand. And turn the steering ship on rebound. Reminding my heart that feeling it will never understand. Near the ocean underneath the sand, is now my hearts burial ground. In front of the ocean glass wave is now where i stand. Hiding from the hours of the sun and its radiant crown. Grabbing sand with both hands and blowing it on oceans land. Reminiscing our destiny as it also pours on your glass of sand. by:p.d.

Well we must talk about your comment more P.D. my BFf .. MEN are the WORST sometimes to express how they feel..especially LUV.. took me and Ron 18 years of back and forth ..off and on.. until I gave him a ultimatum luv.. then he saw the LIGHT..haha.. or I was ready to let it go.. men need a PUSH sometimes.. .. if u think they are worth the effort of the PUSH luv.. talk tomorrow and looking forward to your new contest luv..

Thanks for stopping by, P.D. "heartbreaking" would be an exaggeration though. If you read my "Letter from Anna" or "Unrequited Mantra"...now that's heartbreaking. Last Date was just ...a date that went nowhere. But I digress.... ;-) I especially like this one of yours, lots of great imagery, dwelling on the uncertainty of love perhaps?

ENJOYED READING THIS ART WORK.... HEART BREAK LINGERS ALL DAY LONG, BUT ONLY A RESOLUTE HEART CAN OVERCOME IT IN DIFFERENT WAYS , JUST AS IT COMES IN DIVERS FORM. LIGHTENING INK, LOVE.

Pd I love this write of yours, on some level I can identify with it as well. Awesome way to use the hourglass! ;) As for that write of mine "your smile - our last goodbye" yes unfortunately it is true.. He passed away on my birthday.. And our last contact was really just a smile, (no words) 3 days before he died.. Thank you for your kind comments always ;-)
