Hounds and Jackals

A government of feral Jackals

The masses bound with chains and shackles

They infect us all with fear and lies

Empty promises from empty eyes

As our lives move and rearranges

We struggle on while nothing changes

They sympathize with our frustrations

Then hound us all for more donations

They say it with such sincerity

But it's just for their prosperity

It's ludicrous and quite defeating

When will history stop repeating

The question now is, when are we going to learn from history and do what's necessary to change the future. Thanks for the feedback Gershon. I really appreciate it.
