Hot Tar

In the hot sand
I walk seeking traces of you
that were left being
last night as i played
the part and sought the
role while coming undone
Mentally, physically yet emotionally stable
Suprising you stunning me
in the rising sun
You glare remembering all the anger
that's always there
I beg and plea for you to overlook
all the small things
when I'm hitting my feet on hot tar
