Hostile Mobile

Digital Connectivity is a strange phrase to see, It's all modern technology, a mystery to me. Just a normal guy, not a technophobe, But I thought this phrase was worth a probe. Mobile phones, cameras and camcorders, Laptops, notebooks, pc's, kindles and i-pods. They all are under the same umbrella as far as I can see, Folk use them all the time, wherever they may be. The off switch they have seems pointless to keep, They are on 24/7, even when your asleep. Folk use them whilst driving, laws they do flout, They text anytime they are waiting about. Social gatherings are not to be left out, before the phone has bleeped twice it is out. Conversation interrupted, now that is not right. Folk don't say excuse me, they are so impolite. They sit on the table, like a napkin ring, Couples don't talk, they wait for the ring. How sad is it that life is abused, All because a mobiles misused. Dave Timperley 2013
