Notes About The Poem

For Anna

Listen to poem:

Horses and Unicorns

Voice: Sara Ella *** You found me here Broken and hurting Your eyes are sad Where do you come from? This place is far Far from all this madness All these people Running without Meaningful destination They do not listen They do not see But you do And I Can I please climb your back And you carry me Away from here? And while we walk I shed my tears I shed my pain And grow my wings You grow your horn And then we run And then we run

I always struggle with free verse. This is really good! Great imagery! :-)

I really really like this poem. I love the vulnerability expressed in this poem! It's great when we find that one person we can exhale and open up to and heal and be free and at peace.

Indeed :) It is written for my friend Anna. And yes, that is exactly how it is meant.

Very rich ... melodious ... deep ... laced in beauty ... the audio made it more enriched ...
