Notes About The Poem

During their reign of terror ISIS kidnapped hundreds of innocent children to be used as sex slaves, suicide bombers and human shields many watched their parents murdered in front of their eyes.

Also they were subjected to watch unspeakable horrors and have been left traumatised for the rest of their lives.

Their childhood innocence stolen from them by ISIS thugs whom I hope will burn in hell for their crimes.

The faces of these innocent children have torn my heart apart ! What sinister cruelty! The culprits should suffer in life and death.... ! A touching Senryu

Remember Rawanda? Nobody did a damn thing. half the country wiped out and our governments just sat back and let it happen. (was responding to what you commented back to my reply)

I remember it well Andrea, reminds me of that saying, for evil to flourish good men do nothing. Governments need to act straight away not sit around discussing what can we do while hundreds are massacred. Tom

Hi Tom welcome back - hope Turkey was relaxing and you both enjoyed your holiday tremendously. This picture says a million words and break our hearts - innocent children reduced to nothing, only knowing terror, almost imaginable ISIS terrorists will have a lot to answer to one day! Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

The world has got to do something about all these atrocities. Also it is happening right under our noses in our own countries , by evildoers among us in society

Thanks Andrea, those horrors continued for months and eventually the world took notice, why did it take so long, and you're right , we even have these abusers in our own back yard. There is no justification for this abuse. Tom.
