Horizon's Glow
The feathered days of youth grow wings to fly
To glide and soar through every weathered storm
Find Horizon's farthest point in the sky
Chase rainbow's bend where all its colors form
When all these solemn days have come and gone
And all their dreams you followed have been spent
You'll seek a peaceful beauty, rest at dawn
And lay beneath a sunset with content
Think of life that flows between light and dark
And glowing colors that filled rainbow's bend
You'll trace tender renderings of life's arc
With worn and fragile feathers pointed end
As you come to rest where Horizon's glow
You'll find a memory from long ago
