Hopscotch

I paid the price for my mistakes, you don't know how much it cost I may have scars, wounds, bruises and bloody clothes But i made it through the Muddy roads And I won because just Like in Hopscotch l was thinking outside of the box I've been knocked down many times, but I got up each time They say shoot for the stars, well I'm going to reach mine You can only move forward once you understand what you have to leave behind Two fingers up to everyone who doubted me and it's not a peace sign Depression started a fight not knowing My right hand also has a strong connect I found my way even when I took a few wrong steps There is always another way around There just isn't a way to get me to stay down Those hoping for my Downfall, how long have you ever seen me down for? Put it this way, while you're Celebrating round 3, I'll be back up to win round four You lost your mind thinking you could beat me, but you found the floor I've seen some people get so cocky that they begin to sound insecure I've had depression beat me down until I feel empty That's when I look in the mirror and realise I'm still sexy I'm so out of my mind that the worlds best therapist couldn't mend my sanity I just hope i out live all of my enemies, but i hope i get out lived by my friends and family I paid the price for my mistakes, you don't know how much it cost I gained scars, wounds, bruises and bloody clothes But I carried on and made it through the Muddy roads Because I'm always thinking outside of the box like a game of Hopscotch
