Hopes and Dreams
I was left in solitude
to bear the pain
by myself.
Chasing a dream
which i knew
would never become true.
Hoping to see
my other half
,but instead waiting.
Waiting to stand
together, hand-in-hand.
Waiting to see
the "face of sunshine"
once again.
But yet like no other,
I have the will
to shine on to
my objective.
And hopefully
I will never be locked
in chains,
confined to
a jail sentence.
