Hopes and Dreams.

Should we believe,
All we hear,
All we feel,
Give up on our dream,
Just because of what we see?
Or should we believe,
In ourselves,
In our faith,
Live out our dream,
And forget all we see?
Because somewhere in the world,
There’s a young girl,
With a hope and a dream,
Not caring what she sees,
Should we knock her down,
Should we shout it out,
Or give her a chance,
Because it could be her last.

Catherine, this sure won't be your last. Keep your writing coming and we we will keep on reading. There are so many things to write about, and the more we read, the more we learn >> Lovely poetry >> James

We live in grays, not everything is black and white. We shouldn't believe because we see something, that's how it always is. We should believe in ourselves and our Faith, live out our dream, but do not forget what we see. Learn from what we see. Do not knock one down for chasing a dream ... instead, help one up who has fallen on their quest. Tony
