Hopelessly Trapped In Time

How does it feel
To not wake up from a horror nightmare
No matter how hard you’ve tried?
Trapped…I suppose, everyday…
I can hear the raindrops dripping down the window pane
I can hear the sounds…calling to me
Urging me to wake up
Yet, I still can’t seem to awaken
As everybody else moves on
Growing stronger by the minute
Finally giving up on me…
I am trapped here by time
“Miracles happen”
I used to believe that
Now, I don’t
Not after what I’ve been through
Not anymore
There’s no hope for me
Not one that can light the whole darkness

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
