Hopeless Love

My problem is that I love you,
but there's really nothing I can do!
There's not too much that I can say.
My heavy heart just pines away.

You're the greatest love of my whole life
and I longed for you to be my wife.
But someone stole your love away.
There's really nothing more to say.

So that my love, means you're not free.
It now appears you'll never be.
I can't convince my broken heart
that you and I must stay apart.

Right now there is no you and me.
Appears it wasn't meant to be.
My whole world tumbled to the ground.
I lost the love I thought I'd found.

But Honey, please remember this.
If your new love should go amiss,
I'll be here -  arms opened wide
and you can stay forever by my side!
