Hope Will Kill the Time

The darkness blew away my light right before my eyes
A silent wind passes by whispering goodbye
As I try to hide from the darkness surrounding me
I try to look here and there dark is all I see
I run here and there all alone searching for the light
But the soul walking beside me says it an never ending night
I turn back and there it is flying in the sky
Yes my friend I’m dead with a loud sigh
Flying around with the wind right in front of me
A certain pain in the heart in the face I can see
I closed my eyes to see if it was a dream
Afraid I was when I heard this painful scream
I was there like you are now crying on my knee
Darkness and pain is all your future I can see
Understand oh yes I do been through the pain
Love form the core of heart blown away in vain
Oh yes I did, like you are now, waited for years
Filled my heart with its broken pieces and floor with tears
But look my friend believe in me your walking on a rope
The only thing you must be avoiding now is hope
I know you think there’s nothing that could kill the time
Hope my friend will kill the time, oh yes it’s divine
