Hope No Longer Spreads Its Wings

Hope no longer spreads its wings
and belief is a small nugget of faith
I want to be so restful
and live in your spare room
with rug candles and books
and in the darkness hope against hope
yet I've been lying to myself
I don't want lose threads
to bother me
and now I jumped headlong
one should have really cared
