Hope Less

The feelings of not achieving
These feelings of never making it
The feelings of not making it
The feeling of hopelessness

When darkness wanders in your clear pond
Making your waters murky with dissolation
Playing thunder and lighting at your unsurity
What is it that life wants you to do

When thy soul longs to just wonder
You wondering when you can turn of these sad lights
And go to sleep, perhaps a better day to come

The down trot of happiness
When you know not where you'll end
And the constant glee has subsided
Oh this feeling of hopelessness

You lie awake or go to sleep in it
Perhaps try to turn away from it
Someone bring a light for this tender soul of mine
I cannot be wrapped in hopelessness
