Hope In the Sun
Hope is flying like rocket in the air and I have nothing to fear,
hope has walked straight into my hand
And I am singing a new song.
Hope has sign a new decree and it has set my spirit free,
hope is blowing through the air
And you know that its presence is near
I have been on an ambitious journey, trying to help out
everybody.
But everyone is running around the town wearing an awful frown,
The smiles are supressed and the voices are posessed.
The sun is sending out a strange heat and it is rattling my heart beat
And if you stand in it too long it will scorch up your hands
And when the day is done you have to get up and run
The breeze is blowing above the heat and it is creating
havock underneath my feet , the pressure is riding high
And there is not a sign of rain cloud in the sky
Something strange is flying in the air
causing the people to fear,
The virus and the dish is causing them to make
Their final pitch,
The people are still shopping like madness
It's as if the world is coming to an end
And they have to eat their final meal before they are dead
Oh what awful event is descending from heaven
The earth is pressing upon its own weight and it is causing the
heavens to shake .
I still cannot understand
how the chaos has spread over the land
The mountain and the sheep
The spirit waving out in the deep
And the sound of the ocean rising above my feet
Rushing towards the shores and asking me for more
The tension is still rising for the next phase to begin
But how soon will the other episode begin
They say another one is incubating and the people
are still slighting, just becsuse it has not reached their town
They are still running around,
The time is drawing near
When everyone will have to fear,
the listness nights, the flying kites
And the beggers that are standing by
A total lock down would be fun, but
What happen to the murders and rapist on the run
Who will apprehend the thieves next door
And who will come to my rescue when I shout?
But on wishful thinking you must rely.
In troublesome streets and town
My five sisters and intel people
must hold their presence in the town
They must occupy the street and cities
And deliver the secrets wherever they are found
You must be vigilant all around
And listen to the messages
when they are profound
Hope is riding high
with a strong message in the sky
