Hope In My Eye

HOPE IN MY EYE

Friends desert friends.
God's way is love.
God's the Light in the darkness.
God's the Starlight above.
Friends have agendas.
They try to control.
God's love lasts forever;
longer than purest gold.
All things compared to God
are not as great as He.
God is more constant
than the sands in the sea.
God is more constant
than that first lover's sigh.
He's more special to me,
for He never says good-bye.
Even when I'm wrong,
God still wants me for His friend.
God's the Light in the window
that every day comes in.
God's my Dearest Companion.
God's my Savior when I die.
Why do I love Him?
God's the Hope in my eye.
