Hope Blossoms

So, what if the world does not understand you, fathom your words, your values, your hardship, and all your close tete-a-tetes with trouble?

So, what if the world is blind in its pernicious goal,
in its grandeur,
it's unrequited love for fame and glory.

So, what if the world starts its journey without you,
leaving you behind, in vicious waves and tides, floating up and down, searching for shore,
grasping a little hope.

So, what if the world continues its schedule, its assignment,
even if your innocuous world is shattering, heart-breaking, soul-wrenching.

It seems like an end, rather than a beginning,
but have little faith Nina Pequena,
'cause every ending to have a new, fresh, distinct beginning.
