Hope

HOPE Troops of despondent locusts have fallen dead To the farthest, blooming buds have spread Obliterated the fence of limitations Has stretched its wings, the freedom equations Gigantic leaps though planned, when pulls us out of race Every Rung of the tallest ladder finds its purposeful place When drifted and lost on a chilling, scary rainy night A cozy cottage with burning fire-place in sight! ©Copyright Anulaxmi Nayak, 2016

"Every Rung of the tallest ladder finds its purposeful place"...this binds the piece together nicely. Hope is a ladder, not always easily climbed. J.
