Hope
Today I was hoping it would be
a new beginning
But then my head started
thinking
I tried so hard to stop the
thoughts
But nothing I did kept them
apart
I called out for help and no one
answered
I was left all alone and
stranded
I drop to my knees and asked
for forgiveness
I prayed to God to give me
guidance
Show me the light and give me
the strength I need
To accept who I am with no
regret
Follow the straight and narrow
path
Awaiting me is a brand new
start
