Hope
We resort to hope and prayer
When someone we need is not there
That someone holds true to our hearts
And the feeling is unbearable with being apart
Someone who can never be replaced
And the memories are too real to ever be erased
So we would hope for them to be in a better place
And to be able to one day see their face
The clock ticks away
At the time you have astray
And you wonder all awhile
Why things had to happen this way
Why, why, why we question
Cry,cry,cry teaches us a lesson
To never miss a moment together
And to know still that forever means forever
