Hope

Broken by the thirst and heat, Limping with my burning feet, In the vast expense of sand, That comes not to an end, With scorching sun over the head, I drag myself ahead. Look for water all around, But nowhere it is found, Just mirages I can see, The tricks played on me. Nearly dead, yet I strive, The hope is still alive, I will find somewhere, An oasis around here.
