Hope
What I live for today
& what made me pass yesterday,
what brings me back each time
from a world where I'm mistaken,
what costs the least per day
yet stabilises my inner self,
A thread of Hope does save
me from a vulnerable state
What makes me choose my passion
over being a part of a general trend,
what keeps up my learning spirit
if I miss to win at the end,
what makes me judge less
and encourage a little more,
it's for that little Hope
involuntarily within me
What gets me back on my feet
no matter how hard I fall,
What makes me smile and appreciate
even if times are adverse,
what keeps me curious for tomorrow
irrespective of what's in store today,
I am truly grateful for that Hope
for no matter the time, it's always there....
