Not seeing the future bright and shining Fear and dismay of the past Living day to day A black shadow over me Suddenly today a ray of sunshine Felt a beautiful thing in life The past in the past Forgetting the distress away in a distance Opening my eyes to a new day Birds singing at dawn Trees waving with the wind The ugliness gone Becoming aware of the beauty of the world I caught myself smiling. Looking to the future with hope

What a lovely poem. l remember once when sad how l was surprised to find a most beautiful clematis growing out from the front wall of my house. It had no soil ,got little sunshine or rain, but there it was sprawling along my path in full flower. l keep a photo of it to remember me how it flowered against all odds.Have a great weekend J.
