Hope

Hope, a casual, ordinary word. “I hope you slept well.” “I hope you feel better soon.” “I hope we can get together for lunch sometime next week.” But hope transcends the mundane, waits with expectation, believing it will come to pass. Hope for world peace. Hope for the future. Hope in the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ. Hope for eternal life. Hope in Him who has me inscribed on the palms of His hands. Hope, an elegant, extraordinary word.
