Hope

When the clouds hovered in the sky
And the cold breeze blew
They marked the arrival of rain
Dispensing a gloomy view

Soon the clouds started to cry
Just as I had assumed
The soil bore the weight of their tears
Eventually deepening it's own wounds

Plants tried to stand upright
As the furious wind broke it's branches
They saw the destruction it was causing
Decreasing their survival chances

But soon as the storm stopped
And the sun came
It symbolised the victory of hope
Over the violent pain...
Over the violent pain....
