Hop In
Buzzards have always been there.
On the glaze-eyed periphery.
Patient and nonchalant
awaiting opportunity.
Looking for subtle signs
a dusty stumble
An abbreviated breath
one offbeat from a sunken chest.
A wee bug kills millions.
Society falters, and the buzzards hop in.
