Hooray

With a broken arm, there are many things That I haven’t quite managed of late, Like put t-shirts on, reach for shelves up high, Carry items of any real weight. Though my husband helps (cutting up my food, Doing dishes and making the bed) And my left hand tries to replace the right, With results quite below par instead… There are signs of hope, for I now can write, Do some cleaning and - let’s hear some cheers - After five long weeks, I feel more like me, Since my earrings are back in my ears!

I am sorry about this; a broken arm is "no joke!" I wonder what happened! Was this caused by a fall?

Oh my gosh, it hurts from here. You must stop dancing on tables. What a wonderful husband you have. I'm so glad you can write, I love your poetry so.

Happy to hear you're okay, Ilene, and about your normal daily chores. I haven't broken any limbs of late, just a broken spirit from bad health. Not sure how you write your poems, whether with a pencil or a keyboard, don't let any broken limb stop you from writing? / Maurice

oh that's wonderful news Ilene - I remember breaking my little finger and was amazed at how debilitating it was - being unable to dress properly was the least of my worries:-) hugs Jan xx
