Hood and Trees

I run through the woods Wearing a simple type of hood The leaves crunching, the sticks breaking Everything in the woods is shaking The trees start escaping They tear and lash into my skin The blood oozing from my gut As it drips to the ground, looking like dust My vision begins to blue, as I see the end of this world As I feel faint, I feel the trees dare lay there branches on me My tears finally coming free The crack of a twig echoes, The trees run is dismay My body soft and frail, as the darkness inhales me, being lifted got me scared When I wake, I see food and art, I've been saved by who dare enter the woods When I look into the light, I am captivated The woods are gone, there is fire instead the woods have burned and become red I look to the sound of shoes, seeing my saver is all dressed in blue My bandaged hand is held, and bread is offered If only I knew, how soon I would suffer
