Honour the Legend Tribute To Nelson Mandela

A black African child born for the nation. A star fallen from the sky to nourish the land. When no man ever thought that peace could be maintained. When hatred was a gold medal to all and killing was a feast of lives tearing hearts apart. He stood up and the bureaucrats stood still. He said to them: "Freedom is an ideal that I am prepared to die for." There was isolation of emotions and silence of outrageousness. He said again to the nation: "Let them fight with swords and I will fight with Love and Peace." They made him break rocks, thinking they were breaking his spirit. Little did they know they were preparing him for his Mission Statement "UNITY". He took the wishes of the nation and made them his commands. He said that: if Freedom is worth fighting then let them be the wrecking ball and I will be the building to break. He said if a destination to peace takes million miles, I will be the road and they will be my cars. If love means spilling blood then I will be the sacrifice. And if words are nothing then I will abide by their whims. He endured hard labour and neglected treatment. Years and years in the jungle searching for that golden fruit. They thought that his eager will fade but it grew stronger day-by-day. They thought that they have burried his patience but didn't realise that it was a seed and they were soil&water. They made him suffer and he reversed the curse in their minds. He took into the glowing side of the world. They saw the light and Yes "FREEDOM WAS COMING TOMORROW." He was finally let go. The sun shone better, the stars sparkled brighter and the moon smiled upon South Africa. Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela A man to remember A legend An icon and a forever celebrity.
