Honeysuckle

A woman in next room dressed
velvet with diamanté
shimmering blackness waiting
sacral cringing white longing
wrinkled lips painted crimson
     mozart plays in distance soft
his curls skipping covered piano oiy-oiy
she is to leave her kitchen ______oooahah
EXPANDING elsewhere oiy-oiy
                      f o r e v e r honeysuckle

                           f o r e v e r
the angelic anchoring Earth

her kitchen smelled of g. a. R. lick
distances were to his beck
                                              Garfield comics opened giggles
lipstick was one common gift
white longing embroidered neat
     embellished black satin s h o e s high hills
                                                clickclick
fabric markets her tight delight
                                a woman waiting to go

This is so warming to the heart. Even the language you used, just one big wow....artistic, "iris dreaming in honeysuckle" put to rest there.... wow <3

Sad ending. But honeysuckle flowers smell exquisite. I have one in my small garden. Great format.

You have honeysuckle?! That’s awesome. My favourite, but hard to grow in beginning. I thought the ending was happy. Opening up format is sometimes good. Perhaps try it. Sending light.

Hello Ghairo, Honeysuckle forever.., wait by the water for the hoot owl spirit and dreamy river soul. You've taken up wi' Mozart's muse methinks. All the best for you. -R

ThkU for visit, Quoth. No need to wait - methinks I have owl spirit & Mozart’s muse within ? Or perhaps it’s a shred of arrogance. X.
