You, divine honey bee How much I envy thee Only for a month, you live. Yet, you never the fields leave. Working from dawn till dusk Till you finish your every task You visit many a flower. Within the time of an hour You never toil for money. Still, you produce us, honey. Devoted you are to your mission. Carrying out our Lord's volition When the time comes for you to die No one is there for you to cry. But God who knows the good you did In His gardens lets, you amid! © Demetrios Trifiatis 14 January 2021

I too am a gardener so this appeals to me in many ways. No idea bees only live a month.

Next time I taste the sweet flavor of honey Demetrios , I will remember the effort these bee's made and gave their lives for us to enjoy the sweet honey.

So sad that these beautiful creatures are in decline because of man's stupidity in spraying chemicals and pesticides on crops everywhere. Without the bees we are in big trouble. Tom

Einstein has made it clear: If the bees disappear, Man will follow! It seems that we, or at least the great majority, have not realized the peril we are in! God bless you my friend and keep you healthy!
