The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Honey As the Filler

auto-pilot broken
the impulses take the reins
character wrote by tolkien
complex with glory and shame

id die by the sword
my blood good for this thirsty earth
mother gave all she had
even if she was hurt

gale force winds
hot breath down my neck
memory starts to stretch
where has memory went?

philosophy on deaf ears
choices not concerned
woke and smoke myself some sense
some eyelashes ended burned

questions never answered
fate to fill the blanks
greatest of the stakes
is feeling not so great

the water made from fire
the temptress whispers
ambrosia just a fruit bowl
started all as sisters

cycle in the current
dare i say i end it cool?
when i act a fool
i remember almost drowning in a pool

fragile and unsure
no one is my sponsor
drunken as I saunter
like my ego isnt conquered
